Peter Matthews

Managing Director

Having started in an apprenticeship in Cambridge for Frigidaire, then part of General Motors. Peter learnt basic refrigeration, but working in Cambridgeshire meant that normal day to day clients were a rarity and most of the jobs he undertook were for Cambridge University and other "off the wall" projects such as for, British and foreign royalty, drug companies, and rock stars. Peter has been a member of the Institute of Refrigeration since March 2000. He qualified for his City & Guilds 2077 and 2078 (safe handling of refrigerants) in 1996. In April 2009, Peter became one of the first people in the UK to gain his City & Guilds 2079 (F-Gas Regulations) Category 1 qualification.

In November 2010 Peter gained his Diploma in Air-Conditioning Energy Assessment (DipACEA Level 3 issued by ABBE # 111114 dated 03/11/2010 and is accredited with the Quidos Accreditation Scheme No: QUID201629). May 2012 saw Peter elected to prestigious level of Technician Member of the Institute of Refrigeration (TMInstR).
